New Server!
212.95.56.82:27540
Since it's impossible to run 2 servers side by side for 2 weeks without getting in trouble with synchronising userdata and XP save, I have decided to move to our new server immediately.
The old server will stay up for the remainder of his days, but with the name stf # NEW IP: 212.95.56.82-27540
And banners all over the place spamming the new IP. That way hopefully everyone will get to know the new IP before the UK server shuts down.
Eventhough the old server stays up, everyone is supposed to play at the NEW one.
All settings are the same, XP has been transferred from the old server, etcetera.
There are even some improvements compared to the old server:
- running enhancedMod 1.0.7
I managed to get enhMod working on our new server. This includes a bunch of new funcommands:
EnhancedMod also brings some bugfixes, and fixes a few exploits in ET/JayMod. It also allows me to tweak more settings as the original JayMod 2.1.8
- running Quake3 MultiMod
This mod fixes several bugs and possible exploits in ET. For example, it protects against q3fill, better known as floodbots.
- better ping/connection!
For most players, moving to Germany will mean a better, lower ping. Only the UK players will probably notice a slightly increase in ping. For the Dutchies it won't make much of a difference compared to the old server, and all Polish, Finnish, German, Italian, Spanish/Portugese, French, Romanian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Estonian, Ukrainian Czech, Slovenian, Russian, Greek, etc etc etc (you catch my drift ) players will have a better ping!
Tell everyone of the new server, and we should be back at the top in no-time!

- !crazydisguise - probably gives people funny disguises
- !riflewar - kinda obvious, only rifles
- !pistolwar - also obvious, only pistols
- !country - shows the persons country
- !freeze - freezes a player

- !disarm - removes a player's weapon
- !warn - warns a player with a big message on his screen
- !impact - a little bit like the !launch command, but doesn't do damage, and not as high as !launch
- !antirush - doesnt allow a map to be finished before a certain time set by the admin (currently only attached to lvl 24, not gonna be used for now)

Cant you also enable that covies can steal pants from alive enemies?
That could be fun as well!
Instead of killing and gibbing an enemy, u can just sneak behind him and steal his pants

A Player that gets !disarm'd will have no Weapon anymore.

Might be, but their website, q3mm.org has been down for months. It's impossible to find downloads/documentation. The only reason I was now able to install it, is because YCN offers an install button in the control panel :}

ahhhh, I was already wondering why the old server was so empty the last days. I noticed the server swap because the name changed to NEW SERVER IP: <IP>.

nah the server wasnt empty due to having new server already
but road!!!
Why do you got from each weapon both allied and axis weapon :O
when i take eg. rifle, i get Garand M1 and K43
Same for thompson and MP40 etc...
Also, commands dont show up, or do you still have to add them?

Thats a feature of EnhancedMod, i can turn it off if people don't like it.
And about the commands, they're tied to a seperate adminsystem running alongside Jaymod's.
So I will have to !setlevel everyone, even if they have level, in order for their enhancedmod commands to show up. (and no, it doesnt work with your !set, etc. so dont bother trying but the non-shortcut !setlevel from enhancedmod)

No i didnt! I played Venice with bots on new server, and bremen with bots on new server!
Only map i know they didnt move was Special Delivery!

Well, there's probably no version for sp_te map, only for b4. ;p

I think you should remove the thompson/mp40 thingy because you can shoot 76 bullets before you need to reload which seems to much..
Also you start off with 150 bullets i think this should be lower too

totally agree.
Although I love having colt.45 + MP40, it's just way too much..
